BANKSMAN SLINGER 2 1/2 Day Course

Course description:

This course is designed to give delegates theoretical and practical experience in basic slinging practice operations.

Course structure:

The course consists of 1 day theoretical (including PowerPoint presentation slinging safely Film and theory test paper followed by 1 1/2 days practical. Skills training (continuous assessment)

·        Responsibilities at work

·        Current legislation and requirements

·        HSE guidance

·        Calculating load weights

·        Communication

·        Inspection of lifting equipment

·        Lifting plans

·        Slinging loads safely

·        Safe use of the relevant equipment and accessories

·        Controlling the movement of the load Safety requirements

 

Items required

Full PPE (safety boots, overalls, gloves and safety glasses)
